I'm really new to MMD and am struggling to find out how to fix certain problems, and right now Im trying to use a Project Diva Rin Model from Miouu and every time I try to move it it does this. This has happened a few times with other models, but not all. I tried another model and it worked how I want, but I dont like that one.

Thanks for a Deviantart/Youtube user called mariokart64n was developed ths software called Xnalara to MMD/pmxconv. It's easy to convert the xps files to pmx (but sometimes not). Making a (not so massive) change to a model tag.
So I've been making articles for models from the Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime series... and I just noticed something massive that I had to change immediately.
The models that had already been on the wiki were categorized under PEULLA Magi Madoka Magica models, not PUELLA (the proper spelling).
I have no idea why they were, but that's been changed as of now. All models that were under that category have been moved to the category of Puella Magi Madoka Magica models. I apologise for spamming the Recent Wiki Activity area, but this was a thing that needed to be done since... come on, the anime is Puella Magi Madoka Magica.

Wikia - Admins
i'm force to have to do this but this community needs to be maintain in balance. since some of the Admins have been inactive for about a year now. the Last Active Admin i know is Chelsea-Cat but she seems to be not active for about a year and now some measures needs to be done in order to maintain this community safe from vandalism.
i plan to request to adopt this wikia as the new admin. Well maybe. I was downloading some of MMDRoseevo's models and I saw she made a new picture with her models and I saw that she used her clockwork doll accessory/model in this picture with Mikulia Greenio and I was excited to see that she was making a upcoming model based on her! Would that be interesting if theme parks and other attraction places worldwide would someday be featured a fan-event theme to Hatsune Miku that will be ocurred every night of August? In my opinion, I'd love that since Miku is a most poplaur fictional singer in the world.

I need more models for my MMD software
So far, I've got some Vocaloids in which most are girls, but all these standard ones aren't enough for me. How will I create a new model and how will I get more Vocaloids?

What is does:
MMDZip is basically a combo of Applocale and 7zip .It allows de-compression with the kana names kept. Moreover, if a zip contains a japanese password, it offers the ability to convert the password as well, making the extraction much easier and with less headaches xD.
You have to use this software, trust me :D
Mashi's Miku...
So, I'm gonna add her 2013 version and updating the page of the older version. But there is a small problem here (or maybe a BIG problem)... Mashi's old Miku cames with 34 models and the new one as now 14 models!
So, to avoid posting so many pictures, I had the idea of uploading more than one model per picture. (For example, all the A models in one picture)
What do you think?
EDIT: Mashi made a ver.2 to his/her first Miku. This means that I have more files to upload. So, I'm gonna add more models per picture, in order to save space and in other to make the images easier to categorize.

The future of the MMDC?
I'm very saddened by what has become of the English MMD community as of late. No one cares about each other, it's all about "Me! Me! I do whatever I want and you can't tell me otherwise!" There's almost no respect, and blatant hypocrisy is everywhere, and now with NononoP's Hetalia journal http://fav.me/d55yl2y , the English Hetalia MMD users are in an uproar. The worst part is, we've all completely underestimated just how big the gap is between both the Western and Japanese communities. There are cultural differences that we failed to keep in mind. It's complete anarchy.
I wonder if I am really being helpful or just someone else to hate...

Sorry to say, CNSE's done it again. She edited Saboten-san's Aoki Lapis model to make an Animasa Bikini Aoki Lapis. [ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HvG0rqQwQ_0 ] It was easy to tell, because of the way Saboten rigged Aoki Lapis's hair (one bone only for the long parts).
I then downloaded the model and tried using Saboten's Lapis's hair texture on CNSE's model. Not surprisingly it fit.
She's talking about how people are 'bullying' her when she practically asked for it. Strange girl.

Kanihira's Rhea's Rules
Excuse me, but does anyone know the rules for Kanihira's Rhea model? I've heard different things about her rules, so I just want to make sure I know which one(s) I should follow. I know that she is not redistributeable in any way, shape or form - it says so in her readme, but I'm not sure about editing. I see many MMD users - both Western and Eastern editing Rhea, but I've been told that Kanihira doesn't allow their models to be edited.
Just to make sure we're talking about
the same model, this is what she looks like:
A friendly reminder
When making a model page, western naming is preferred, followed by the model maker's name.
Here are examples:
- Alice Margatroid (Nigamon)
- Miku Hatsune (Animasa)
The only time you can use eastern order is if you are referring to the actual Vocaloid software, not the character; ie Hatsune Miku.
Also, if the model has a theme, then the theme goes after the name.
- Miku Hatsune Snow (Ginjishi)
- KAITO Cantarella (Jjinomu)
If the character is a derivative, it should be regarded as its own character and not a theme.
- Rin Magane (Jjinomu)
- Miku Hazure (Anomaro)
In this case, "Miku Hatsune Hazure" would not make sense. Miku Hazure is her own character.
Hope this clears some things up!

MikuMikuMoving?
Okay, I guess there would be a new use for all those littered journals in dA's gallery. I just heard about this so-called program called MikuMikuMoving.
Essentially, it is an 'advanced' version of MikuMikuDance produced by MoggProject. The features of MMM include a somewhat simpler interface and improved graphics. I say 'advanced' lightly, because it has a few bugs.
Someone had commented that MMM lags heavily, especially during render. In fact, the only way you could see the animation was to render AVI. Another one of the differences that MMM has from MMD is the lack of the physics engine, inability to turn off edge line, incompatibilty with Kinect, and not compatible with MikuMikuEffect. The program also cannot load .PMX models.

So following yesterday's blog, I decided I try to find the origin of the Windows 100% magazine, mainly after reading this comment.
"Windows 100% is a FAN MADE magazine, made by FANS for FANS, and although Crypton/Yamaha allow it, it is... NOT an official magazine (as in Crypton did not authorize it prior to it's release).
