Black★Rock Shooter (also known as B★RS) is an original character by illustrator HUKE.

Her illustration inspired a producer, ryo (Supercell), to create a song based upon her by using Vocaloid 2, Miku Hatsune.

The popularity of the song and character created a franchise. There are many other characters by the illustrator and others from various media.
